The Strokes, Glass Animals, Modest Mouse, Fontaines D.C. and Moses Sumney are the new confirmations for the 14th edition of NOS Alive, which takes place at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th of July, 2022.

Previously announced for NOS Alive’20 and ’21, The Strokes will play at NOS Stage for the first time on the 6th of July, while Fontaines D.C., Glass Animals and Moses Sumney will take over Sagres Stage, on the 6th, 7th and 8th of July, 2022, respectively.

Modest Mouse is the new name for the lineup of NOS Alive on July 6, and will make their debut at NOS Alive on Sagres Stage.

The north American band, formed in 1992, helped shape indie rock music as we know it, by the end of the nineties, reaching critical acclaim in the following years with the albums “The Moon and Antarctica” (2000) and “Good News for People Who Love Bad News “(2005), which was nominated for a Grammy. On later albums like 2007’s chart-topping “We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank” (which featured legendary guitarist Johnny Marr) and 2021’s “The Golden Casket”, Modest Mouse gave their music arena-sized proportions without sacrificing their idiosyncratic outlook.
