Tom Walker, one of the rising names of pop music and winner of the Brit Awards 2018 for Best British Revelation, debuts in Portugal with an unique concert on the NOS Stage on July 13th The Scottish musician presents his recent album “What a Time To Be Alive” on the last day of the festival.
The name Tom Walker emerged after the success of the hit “Leave A Light On”, which became one of the greatest songs of 2018. The success has even reached the first place in the ranking of Itunes in 17 countries, sold more than 2 million copies worldwide and even reached platinum disc in the UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy and Switzerland. With the live presentation of the single on NBC’s The Today Show, “Leave A Light On”, Walker joined the Top 20 of Hot AC Airplay in the United States, and was invited as special guest at concerts of names such as George Ezra and The Script.
The debut work “What A Time To Be Alive”, produced by Jim Abbiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys), Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran) and Mike Spencer (Years & Years), has a collection of 12 original songs written and composed by the artist himself. While “Leave A Light On” established Tom as a global artist, the debut album will undoubtedly stabilize its growing reputation as the most exciting artists of today.
